Service Description

Restore your mind and body and alleviate stress in this two-part special class. The first half of this special class will be yin yoga postures that will prepare us for the second half of the class -- a yoga nidra practice. Yin is a quiet and slow practice characterized by floor poses that are held between 2 and 5 minutes. With the help of our breath, we will find meditation and an intimate exploration of the body with each posture. It is a perfect antidote to a buildup of stress and strain. Yoga nidra is the practice of yogic sleep. It is done laying down in savasana. In yoga nidra, you are guided to a sleep-like state while maintaining full consciousness. This workshop is a real opportunity to go deep within, and you will float out feeling nurtured and relaxed.

If you are unable to attend class kindly cancel 2 hours in advance. Cancellations within the 2 hour window will be subject to loss of class credit or $10 fee for unlimited members.
